Great News and Thank You

Last week, we made you aware of the “Simple Gifts” concert and fund-raiser.  This week, I want to share the great news!

The Hendersonville Community Theatre (HCT) teamed up with our “Hearts for the Arts” program to bring in international Perzina artist, Christopher Tavernier, to kick off the HCT 2016 season.  (The brand new 6’2″ Perzina grand we took over there was gorgeous and sounded great on their stage.)  Together they presented Chistopher’s exclusive piano performance themed “Simple Gifts” to raise funds for an Assisted Listening Device system for the HCT.  The system uses receivers that help audience members with hearing difficulties overcome background noise and distance from the stage. The house was packed with over 170 people!  Unfortunately, the HCT had to turn away concert hopefuls due to the fire code.  We rejoice that $6,200, which surpassed the goal, was raised and the Hendersonville Community Theatre will soon have their “Assisted Listening Device” system.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.
