It’s a Heart Thing

Today’s blog is my personal invitation to attend a very special event coming up this Sunday at our Master Works Theatre. I’m extremely excited about it and here’s why: “It’s a heart thing.”

I am married to an amazing master technician, rebuilder, classically trained and musical husband. I have an amazing business and marketing minded store manager, my son, Levi. I have an amazing entrepreneurial daughter, Emily, who lovingly tells me that I am the “family cheerleader.”

She’s right. It thrills me to support, encourage and promote my family – my husband, our daughter and son, their spouses and our three glorious grandchildren – but my family is much bigger than that. In my heart, my family includes everyone connected to Freeburg Pianos.

So, here’s why I’m excited about this Sunday in particular. I am “kicking off” our new “Hearts for the Arts” program featuring our very own fourteen-year-old artist-in-residence Christopher Tavernier playing both harpsichord and piano with local sisters, flutist Grace and violinist Kristie Kim. These three award winning artists have performed with various symphony orchestras! You will thoroughly enjoy their program. There is no charge and seating is limited so please arrive early.

Honoring these three amazing young people, as they share their gifts with us, thrills my heart. As you might imagine, I’m also excited about welcoming every amazing person who attends the concert. If they aren’t already, that day they will become a precious part of my family. “It’s a heart thing.”

Blessings,
Joann
