Happy Thanksgiving!
The Holiday Season has begun! The next six or so weeks are filled with special events including concerts of many types. My family gets a “kick” out of one that I’ve chosen to attend the past few years – a Christmas concert that is performed by approximately seventy tubas. Yes, you read that correctly. The only instruments are tubas. It’s a “hoot” but also heart-warming when the audience joyfully joins in the Christmas carol sing-along.
This year, I’m looking forward to enjoying a new and very special event we are hosting on Saturday night, December 6 from 7:00 to 9:00. My dear friend, Elise Pratt, and her very talented jazz ensemble are presenting a “Swing into the Season” concert at Master Works Theatre (in Freeburg Pianos).
